Melbourne Innovation Centre

The Melbourne Innovation Centre is providing online workshops as part of their Australian Small Business Advisory Services (ASBAS)
Digital Solutions Program 2020. The workshops will run until the end of April, during this period, there is no fee to attend.

Below are the requirements to be considered as an eligible business to register for these online workshops:

  1. Must have an active Victorian ABN
  2. Must have 19 or less employees
  3. Must be a For-Profit business

Business Resilience program.

This program is designed to assist Victorian small businesses affected by COVID-19. Support includes free access to virtual mentoring, online workshops, and resources.
Topics covered in both mentoring and workshops are pertinent to the impacts of COVID-19 on small business. This includes strategy and resilience, finance and technology, customers and marketing, human resources, and mental health and wellbeing.

Emotional Wellbeing.

These are stressful times. In this 25 minute webinar you will find some practical tips on how to ensure your emotional well-being during the COVID 19 crisis.

Responsible Service of Alcohol training moves online

From Monday October 12 2020, Registered Training Organisations will be able to deliver Responsible Service of Alcohol training online.

Additionally, qualifications from all states and territories will now be recognized nationally.

Anyone with a qualification obtained through face to face or online training course conducted in another state or territory will have their qualification recognised from Monday 12 October 2020.

A free online bridging course will need to be completed to ensure interstate students know about Victorian specific liquor laws and requirements.
