A high pressure system centred west of Tasmania extends a ridge over western Victoria. The ridge and associated high pressure system will continue moving slowly east, moving over eastern Victoria by Monday night. A low pressure trough across Western Australia will extend across South Australia on Monday and approach western Victoria later on Tuesday. This trough will cross the State on Wednesday ahead of a cold front which will enter far southwestern Victoria on Wednesday night. The front will cross the rest of southern Victoria early on Thursday as another high pressure system rapidly develops over the State The high will move over the NSW coast by Thursday night and establishing a warmer northerly airstream across Victoria.

Patchy fog in the southeast in the early morning. Cloud increasing. Medium (60%) chance of showers in the west, slight (20%) chance elsewhere, most likely during the late afternoon and evening. Winds northeasterly 20 to 30 km/h turning northerly 25 to 35 km/h in the morning. Overnight temperatures falling to between 3 and 6 with daytime temperatures reaching around 19.
