A large high pressure system centred near Tasmania will move east, becoming established over the Tasman Sea later tonight. Meanwhile a trough of low pressure will extend over northwest Victoria. A cold front will approach from the west during Friday, reaching western Victoria at night before sweeping through the remainder of southern Victoria during Saturday morning. The next high pressure system will be located just to the southwest of Adelaide by Saturday night.

Partly cloudy. The chance of fog in the southeast in the early morning. Medium (50%) chance of showers at night. Winds northerly 15 to 25 km/h turning northwesterly 20 to 30 km/h in the middle of the day. Overnight temperatures falling to around 10 with daytime temperatures reaching the low 20s.

Cloudy. Medium (60%) chance of showers, most likely in the morning. The chance of a thunderstorm in the east in the morning. Possible hail in the southeast in the morning. Winds northwesterly 20 to 25 km/h turning southwesterly 25 to 40 km/h during the morning then becoming south to southwesterly and light during the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 9 with daytime temperatures reaching around 15.

Cloudy. Slight (30%) chance of a shower near the Otways, near zero chance elsewhere. Light winds becoming south to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h during the morning then becoming light during the afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to between 5 and 8 with daytime temperatures reaching around 16.
