Part of the Albert Park precinct, Walter Oval has facilities for football, netball and cricket, including netball and umpire change rooms. Walter Oval hosts Warrnambool District Football Netball League (WDFNL) and Warrnambool District Cricket Association (WDCA) competitions respectively.

Facilities: Training standard floodlighting, scoreboard, public amenities, turf wicket.

Usage considerations:

• Casual hire requests will need to consider the type of oval activity required, some restrictions may apply from October to March inclusive due to the turf wicket. Access for football practice matches during March (annually) is restricted until completion of the cricket season.
• Requests for hire of the social club rooms are managed directly through South Rovers Football Netball Club.
