Support for COVID-19 affected businesses

FREE TICKETS TO BUSINESS SUMMIT

We’ve teamed up with the 2020 Regional Growth Summit to provide free tickets to all local businesses and anyone else in Warrnambool who’d like to attend this online event.
The summit aims to help small, medium and start-up businesses in regional Australia use technology to save time and money while attracting new customers and accessing new markets.

It’ll be presented digitally on Wednesday May 27.

There will be 16 awesome guest speakers and panel discussions throughout the day covering a wide range of topics from marketing to augmented reality, so feel free to jump in on the topics of particular interest to you, or watch the whole summit.

Gradual easing of restrictions

The Victorian Government has announced a gradual easing of the restrictions, with people now being able to host up to 5 people in their home, and exercise with up to 10 people following social distancing rules.

Economic Survival Package

The Victorian Government has released a $1.7 billion economic survival package to help small and medium-sized businesses.

It includes a $500 million Business Support Fund to help small businesses survive the impacts of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and keep people in work.

The Australian Government has announced social distancing measures to protect the Australian community from the spread of the coronavirus. Restrictions have been placed on a number of non-essential services.
