Warrnambool City Council welcomed Peter Schneider as Chief Executive Officer in February 2019.
Mr Schneider has worked in local government and the private sector and was most recently Chief Executive Officer of Perth-based local government authority, the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council (EMRC).
The EMRC provides services including waste management, resource recovery, environmental management and regional development to six member councils.
Mr Schneider became familiar with Warrnambool in past roles including a stint working with Coles Myer.
