An exciting opportunity exists to assist Warrnambool in its aspiration to become Australia’s most environmentally sustainable regional city.

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Experience and knowledge of issues related with the environment and sustainability.
  • Demonstrated media and communication skills.
  • Degree or Diploma in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or Sustainability will be highly considered.

The environment and sustainability project officer role sits within Councils Sustainability Unit and will support the development and delivery of environment and sustainability initiatives and programs.

Salary Range:                      $66,469 to $75,790 p.a (pro- rata)  
Position status:                  Temporary Part Time (until 30 June 2021)
                                                             (minimum 16 hours per fortnight)
